Lewie Day (aka Tornado) is an Austrialian born music producer and dj, now resident in Berlin. Pitchfork was watching him since years, here‘s a review of a 2013 song called Desperate Pleasure. Here’s his bio on ADE website. Here’s from 2015  a single called  Kangaroo Ground / Ferntree Gully  that’s worth a listening to a better insight in Tornado’s elastic soundscapes.

Latest album on Runningback label is called Lonely Planet and it’s been reviewed by Picthfork here. This one called Warp Odissey is one of my favourite track.

He’s going to play at Spazio Dora, in Turin / Italy, this saturday, thanks to the effort of those australian lovers Turin crew TDC (Andras Fox was another lucky take of them recently). Last week D’Arcangelo and Max Durante were playing there,  two Rome columns from late’90 as Marco Passarani, who’s out on Runningback label too, with his duo project called Tiger and woods. This doesn’t mean anything, just a trippy link to notice and write down here.
